Entrances fees are part of the reservation process. The only way to enter the Supai Trail area and waterfalls area, is to have Campground Reservations or Lodge Reservations. Your Entrance Fees will be calculated into your reservation. You can’t make reservations to just hike in, and back out, the same day (No Day Hike type entering).
